Power Tower w/vkr Model# 50-1692B - I love this thing

I wanted to find a piece of workout equipment that I could put in my small apartment but it needed to be versatile to justify its footprint. For $150.00 this tower is a good bargain because of all the different exercises that can be done on it. It wasn't difficult to put together and the quality of the machine is very good. The red color scheme makes it stand out. The pads and grips are all comfortable and it has floor protectors on the bottom to prevent scratching on the tile floor. I can move it around easily too.I'm 6'1", 180lb, 49yr and it flexes for me when doing the exercises, but mainly because I need to work on proper form when doing them. Another round of bolt tightening and it should get better. On that note, just use your own tools to put it together. It will go MUCH faster and easier. One thing is for sure though, I am getting in VERY GOOD workouts. I like the dip station, vkr, and tri dip - the dip station gives gym quality feel but with a small amount of flex. Surprisingly, I love the push up station. The pumps I get from it are great. Alternatively, my least favorite station is the pull ups, because I am weak and I swing too close to the vkr backrest. Looking into getting some bands to help me with that though. This was a great purchase. I wasn't sure if it was going to work because of a nagging shoulder injury but damn, I think my shoulder is getting better because exercise is therapy for it! This thing is a keeper - I am going to get shredded if I keep on using it, and I already notice a BIG difference after just 1 week (shout out to Ultimate Nutrition ISOmass too). Mix in some kettle bell or free weights and you can have the full gym at your own house. As it stands, it is a CORE piece of equipment that I will use for many years.

Pros
  • ‎150 Pounds
Cons
  • No option for attaching additional weight plates for heavier workouts
