Good price good product

I just received this player yesterday and am very happy so far. I read all the reviews about this player while trying to choose a Blu-ray player. I wasn't looking for anything extra just a player and it ticks all the boxes - inexpensive, plays DVD and Blu-ray and is easy to use. Subtitles, but they are (as you can see in the video I've attached) so it's more likely that the disc they were trying to play didn't have subtitles as an option. The same reviewer found it difficult to set up, but all it takes is plugging an HDMI cable into the back of the unit, turning it on, and popping in a disc. Another reviewer claims the turntable is just an "upscaler" which is not true. It plays my Blu-rays. The description even explains that the packaging only says "DVD" and the positive reviews mention this as well. I posted a photo of the player turned off and the red light is very bright. No problem unless you have the player installed next to the TV (as in the picture). I'll put it in a different place so the red light doesn't bother me when the player isn't in use. If you are looking for a cheap DVD and Blu-ray player, I definitely recommend this one.

  • Blu-ray player and recorder
Cons
  • Something different
