I've been using a cheaper hand grinder with a ceramic grinder for about 4 years. I decided it was time for an update. Looking back, I should have bought this coffee grinder a long time ago. The build is amazing. The strong metal and good weight make it look like a premium coffee grinder. I use a French press so the setting is easy to adjust with crisp clicks to see where you are. The capacity is almost 30 g. Most beans I can get are 27-29g, but 30g seems like too much. This is my only complaint that I used to brew at 30g but I only adjusted the brew ratio. As for the grinding. SPEED! This thing digests beans fast! It takes about 35-45 seconds to grind 28-29 grams. Much faster than my old grinder. The process seems to be very smooth and robust. The textured surface is also comfortable to grip. The degree of grinding is very even! I was very impressed with this grinder. Includes cleaning brush and travel case. The only things I would change are a slightly larger capacity (so I can easily do 30g) and a folding handle (more time than other models, just more money). Overall, this is the perfect grinder for beginners and veterans who are price-motivated but need a grinder that can compete in the 150-200 price range.
