It's amazing how hard these things are to find, especially with the hardware (nuts and bolts) that go with them. I needed some for my Raspberry Pi hats and now I have some. I should be able to use them for other projects as well. I don't need many sizes for the Pi, especially the very tall and very short ones. They come in a neat little case, about 2 inches by 4 inches or so. This should prevent them from dissolving in the bin.
