That being said, I bought this plasma ball as a birthday gift for my 12 year old. He is very happy with it! It comes with an adapter and doesn't require batteries like the others. It has a setting for both touchscreen and sound, which is pretty cool. All of his friends think it's very fancy, especially when the bolts instantly click into place where your finger touches. They like to pretend it gives them superpowers. Actually me too. Great mom!
