I've spent some time with this webcam. Let's start with the positive aspects first. The picture and sound quality is excellent. Much better than other webcams I've used. The zoom is excellent. It seems very well built. I've used it with different applications and it works just like any other webcam I have. I've contacted tech support a couple of times. In all cases I received a response in less than 24 hours. Which I think is great. But the real question is, is it worth the price? I have to say no This is the best webcam I've ever used, but it's almost 20 times more expensive than other webcams I've used. Speech tracking - works well - the camera pans to the speaker. But it only turns left to right. So everyone should be on the same plane. If one sits and the other stands, it doesn't work. You will see one person's face and another person's stomach. Depending on how people are sitting around the conference table, this feature may or may not work for you. Just be aware of its limitations. What frustrates me the most and what I think has a lot of potential here is that there are no plugins for any apps. This camera has many interesting features, but all of them are only accessible with the included remote control. There are other cameras that provide software to integrate their functions with apps like OBS Studio. I contacted them regarding this and they indicated that the software is under development. ETA was not given. If the software comes out and works it will greatly improve the usability of this camera. At this point I can reflect on my assessment. With the right software integration, this camera can be a good choice for people streaming or recording video. Be that as it may, using it for these purposes would be rather clumsy. If they produce quality software that integrates with some of the more popular applications, and if they can lower the price a bit, they could be a winner.
