Good first best in the exhaust

I'll list the pros and cons below to make it short and sweet PRO: Sounds good at idle at first REALLY easy to install, looks great on a 2021 FLHRXS great out Cons: Pretty finished thin, sound started to mute for about a month, idle noise is ok, when running they tend to be very quiet. The BAD thing is that while I understand they are cheap they shouldn't rust 6 months after installation, the attachment points (on the muffler) are rusting at the welds and due to the weird muting that was going on I have baffles removed to see what was going on and the left pipe was full of rust. It is in the tube where the baffle touches the sidewall, also the baffle fiberglass was rusted and not covering the entire core of the baffle, while I understand a few millimeters of uncovered core isn't that much, it's a problem if there is a significant amount of rust in the pipe. I wish I had a photo but I will say it wasn't just a few pitting spots it was a lot of loose powdery rust. Unfortunately they will disappear as soon as I get new ones. or I could return the factory tubes at the same time, do a 1k service tomorrow, that should tell you the expected life of these tubes. Be careful and spend, better save if you must.
