I bought this to add USB-C ports as well as USB-A to my desktop system. It works like a USB controller, but with one big problem. This causes a 2-3 minute delay on boot up and every time you wake up from sleep. The system is not responding with a black screen. That was removed and reverted to the original USB 3 controller and the boot/wake time was back to normal. Oddly, both cards have the Fresco Logic FL1100 chipset and identical drivers. Something about this YEELIYA card is either incompatible or defective. Not recommended.
