A lot of work!
I have completed 2 of these for my great grandchildren. They are adorable but I have to say that I am a very experienced seamstress and really had to take it step by step. I found that the quality of the felt left something to be desired. In fact, I figured I'd be willing to pay more if they used higher quality felt, maybe wool felt. Threads and sequins are enough to complete the product. I probably spent 6 or 7 hours on each gift car and even more on the locomotive. To give it more material I made a lining after sewing which helped make up for the poor quality felt.
