When it comes to steel hooks, my red line is the sharp edges. These hooks have nicely smoothened ends with no sharp edges.Material of the hooks look like steel, however they are not attracted to magnet. Therefore I conclude these are stainless steel material that is used by industrial bench and cabinet manufacturers. That is great, you shouldn't expect any rust from these hooks.They are made of thick material, almost 5/8" and total dimension is approximately 4.5".These will do the trick to hang almost anything you need to hang at home and will last a long time. I think I will get the flat ones in addition to these, they look fabulous and if they are as high quality as these ones, at this price point it is a steal.
