I am a quotation consultant and often have to work on site at the customer's site. I also travel a lot and have to work in hotels. Since most of my work consists of editing or viewing multiple copies of documents, having two monitors saves a lot of time. In one I can save the master copy of the document and in the other I can view the selected copy to see what changes I want to apply to the master. Or maybe I just want my email to be visible on one monitor while I work furiously on another. It's not always possible to get a second monitor from a customer anyway, and if they have a monitor it may be so old that it doesn't have a port that will work with my computer. I was a little skeptical about how good a portable monitor like this could be, but after a few months of use I became a huge fan of it. First, it's the same size as my laptop screen, and since it sits on the table next to my laptop, it's much easier to move the cursor between screens than using my laptop screen and an external monitor. standing on a stand 3-4 inches above table level. (You can see this in the picture I've attached. I carved the company logo - these are the blue dots.) The Lepow monitor is easy to connect. If you have a computer with a fully functional USB3 port, that's enough for power and picture. This is how my Dell XPS15 works. I have a second computer, Lenovo, that doesn't fully utilize the USB3 port, so I also need to connect a Lepow monitor to my computer's HDMI port. But in any case, the connection is simple, and after connecting, the monitor simply turns on. The default brightness is quite dim, but can be increased slightly. The resolution is 1920 x 1080, so if your laptop (like my Lenovo) has that resolution, moving items from one screen to another will be smooth. However, my Dell PC is 4K resolution, so it takes a while for the elements to resize when switching to a lower resolution Lepow screen. This is not a problem with Lepow - it works the same with any external monitor if the resolution is lower. To be honest, the only problem I had with this monitor was learning how to properly fold the lid to use it as a stand. . It's a bit counter-intuitive since you're trying to build a tent, but since the lid is magnetized it actually works a lot better and gives you more freedom to adjust the angle once you get it right. .This monitor has certainly paid for itself many times over for the hassle it saved me. From a purely selfish point of view, I figured I could just stick with one monitor, do the same work longer, and charge more customersโbut that's not how you do business. The monitor and the case are very handy, so I can easily put them in my laptop bag next to my computer. I've worn them this way for several months with no damage. I looked at many portable external monitors before deciding on this one and I'm confident I made the right choice.
