So far this has been a great upgrade for my Ender 3. The touchscreen works great, especially after running a calibration cycle which was easily accessed from the settings menu. However, since this is intended as a screen replacement for the Ender 3, you'd think they'd rotated the ribbon cable's pinout to match the orientation of the original. I had to cut the coded tab on the connector to insert it backwards for it to work. I definitely need better documentation, I only knew about it because of the Teaching Tech YouTube video. Minus: The firmware is not quite ready yet. It's still very buggy. I've already had a couple of failed prints where I was just trying to adjust the temperature settings using the touchscreen while printing. There is a Wi-Fi input for the Arduino ESP-01S board, but the functionality is not yet implemented in the firmware, although in some cases BTT sells a Wi-Fi adapter along with it. You can buy an ESP-01S together with a USB programming adapter for the same price and don't have to wait for BTT to finish writing the firmware for an already released product. ready to deal with the firmware in its current state.
