Review on Sudoku Small Thinking by Wood Expressions by John Iverson

Well, I have a lot of experience with various Sudoku sets made of wood, because it's the only thing (apart from the pool) that gives my father joy in life, despite his advanced age. In 2010 I made a big mistake when I bought four sets of these mini ("thinking") tiles here. Now, 5 years later, my father no longer has them because of the extremely poor quality. Dad suffered a lot with them until we finally decided to throw them away altogether. It appears that these tiles were hand cut and numbered using pyrography (wood burning). It's impossible to believe that they are 'made' by Wood Expressions. Aside from the obvious difficulty of reading the numbers, which wear away over time, the tiles are often uneven and disproportionate. Unfortunately, high quality mini tiles are almost impossible to buy separately, even on eBay. The solution I found is to buy this board: Smart Mind's original wooden Sudoku board that comes with mini tiles. Luckily they are sold used in the collectors section for about $9.99 with free shipping, comparable to the only price of the mini tiles sold here. Good luck everyone!
