A bit pricey but should last for the next 5 years or so! Replaced the outdated "Zoom" when it reached EOL via Comcast/Infinity. I had no trouble registering it online via "CHAT" on Comcast. MAC and S/N sent and after about 10 minutes we had a connection. Due to the bandwidth of Negear routers, we support a separate modem and WiFi router (also Netgear). We also connect to the router via CAT5. Make sure you turn off your router before contacting them. Once you see all 4 top lights are solid (should be green) and the bottom one is at least solid or blinking THEN TURN ON the router. After that you should be able to ping "comcast.net" as soon as the router gets a new IP address (which takes a few minutes for this router). As a final note, ALWAYS change the default PW on your router!
