I have an Aven and don't bother with it that much. Adjustments during operation can be tedious. That takes all the quirks out of the equation. A solid foundation does what it should, remains stable. The slider is smooth as silk. The spring compressor on the fixed side was sloppy, but stretching the spring fixed that. That way I can leave the fixed side alone with a little tension and turn the board if need be. The jaws could have had smaller grooves to make mounting components on the edge of the board easier, but I think that's a necessary evil. It's heavy and durable, so you don't have to be careful with it. Makes board assembly fast and fun again without hassling with tools!
