Manuals consist of several sentences on a catalog card with references to manufacturer/vendor software and device drivers. Unfortunately, there are no real instructions on the site either. There is little evidence of some very jumpy software. This is not my first purchase of an ELM327 OBD2 adapter. I have two more: inexpensive universal device and OBDLink MX. The universal unit was part of the cost of this unit, and it worked. I gave up Forscan Pro and it never worked properly. Although the OBDLink MX is more expensive, the difference in quality is huge. OBDLink worked out of the box and never let me down. The old adage that you get what you pay for definitely applies in this case.
