I originally bought the Razer Opus because it seemed like a good deal in terms of quality and sound, it worked most of the time but I have it for a Sony WH-1000XM4 powered on -Headset returned sale I tested both on airplanes and in quiet conditions, I'm not a hardcore music lover but I associate quality sound. My pros and cons for both headsets are as follows. Razer Opus $189-Pros-Mid-range price Comfortable Reliable sound with punchy, tight bass Good noise cancellation Cons-Terrible app, depending on the device, it doesn't show battery percentage. I can't create my own EQ settings, boosted and THX sounded the best to my ears. It didn't get loud enough when connected to my iPad. Not a very wide soundstage. The build quality is average. significantly wider soundstage than the Opus, bass is still solid. Noise cancellation is comparable and slightly better than Opus. Convenient good application with equalizer control. usually $350. Slight delay when using the headset's Speak to Silence feature.
