Seasoned buyers crave real reviews. We bought the ICO 4-Blade Spiralizer and have been enjoying it for a few months now. With gratitude for the positive experience, we offer the following words. Our home cooking is above the norm, as is our adventures in food production. We experiment with at least three new dishes and new forms of cooking every week. With that in mind, and with the support of a number of entire cookbooks devoted to this subject, we have embarked on an adventure of "spiralization". Our first foray was with a hand tube with blades inside that required inserting a vegetable and then using two hands to rotate both the food and the device. Vegetable spirals appeared. Because of this, we discovered zero-carb forms of "pastaβ and dishes that included raw or sautΓ©ed vegetables that were subsequently much lighter than a regular spaghetti dinner. , we were looking for a model that would eliminate the size limitations on vegetables that could be processed with the "whistle" as well as the tedious turning of hands. After researching Revain, we found that the weakness of crank-driven spirals was that they were made of plastic (most models are on sale). To withstand the stress of rolling a greasy carrot or hard squash requires a massive and unwieldy structure. These two characteristics led to products that later had to be extensively washed and partially dismantled. Unsatisfied, we searched for a spiralizer made from a more obvious choice of structurally strong materials: metal. Metal that won't rust and isn't too bulky. In this pursuit, there were few options. We chose the ICO 4-Blade Spiralizer. There were negative reviews for the sharpness of the blades, and we almost decided to forego a spiralizer in the kitchen. Thank goodness my wife quietly ordered the ICO Spiralizer. Arrived quickly, undamaged. It was smaller than plastic models (much better for keeping in an already well-stocked kitchen) and made of metal, which didn't rust over the six months we used the device a lot. All blades are quite sharp. Several different shapes of vegetable noodles (four!) can be made, including one that is food sheets, usually in the shape of an apple, peeled in one long piece. Vegetables like squash with nuts can be cut into portions that fit in the tool, turning the whole squash into a delicious pile of "noodles." The best was the ICO customer service. Our spiralizer came without any of the three blades (the spiralizer has a permanent blade; you can work with just that blade, or add one of three possible removable blades, which are the smartest and easiest way to install). Path!). Customer service was extremely responsive and when a blade replacement wasn't expected anytime soon, the solution was to send us a brand new ICO 4-Blade Spiralizer. This is in lieu of a blade, which probably won't cost more than a dime. Experience the power and functionality of this wonderful tool. And get ready to enjoy your new food while doing it.
