At first I thought it looked stupid on my head. But hey, my head would look stupid ugly like a melon on the street! Flying 30 mph on an electric longboard without a helmet is just stupid, so yeah. Fit and comfort are excellent, the dial really adjusts the fit. Good straps and buckle, it stays where it's supposed to be even at high speed. Ventilation is good, ie at speed - you don't work that hard aerobically on an Esket. Good price and now an important part of my gear. Recommended. EDIT: A year later and it's still working great - now I also commute to work on a 40-mile e-bike and wear this helmet in warmer weather. (I mostly use the moon visor snowboard helmet in colder weather) Also, my 13 year old son is now flying after me on his own skateboard - way too fast! He fought me tooth and nail, but he'll wear that helmet too! EDIT again - added an insanely fast e-mountainboard to my quiver, muscle memory makes me spin it around like a snowboard. in some gravel - the next thing I know, my head actually hit the pavement with amazing force! This helmet saved my brain and possibly my life. Just a few scratches on the side of the hard case, no foam warping. So be smart kids. wear a helmet!
