The Real Lifesaver: Protective Gear

Had a horrific accident on his electric skateboard while accelerating up to 20mph. Slipped a few feet over my head. I never felt a hit because it protected my head so well. He ended up with a broken arm but would probably be dead if it wasn't for that helmet.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I have a big head (pun intended) - love this helmet

I have a big head. This helmet suits me. In cold weather I also use it with a liner (I take out the padding when I use the liner).

Pros
  • DURABLE - Built for comfort and impact resistance with a REINFORCED ABS SHELL AND A THICKER EPS DAMPING CORE.
Cons
  • Compatibility

Nice Helmet in Helme

Although I had to return this item because it was too big, it turned out to be a good helmet. The color was exactly what I was looking for for my daughter. It would be ideal if it were adjustable. The description was accurate.

Pros
  • EXTRA REMOVABLE LINER - Skateboard helmet with two removable pads for different head sizes, easy to rinse off afterwards.
Cons
  • Unusable features

it just works. for helmet

At first I thought it looked stupid on my head. But hey, my head would look stupid ugly like a melon on the street! Flying 30 mph on an electric longboard without a helmet is just stupid, so yeah. Fit and comfort are excellent, the dial really adjusts the fit. Good straps and buckle, it stays where it's supposed to be even at high speed. Ventilation is good, ie at speed - you don't work that hard aerobically on an Esket. Good price and now an important part of my gear. Recommended. EDIT: A year

Pros
  • DOUBLE ADJUSTABILITY - A well-attached and durable dial and skin-friendly adjustable chin strap ensure maximum fit and comfort.
Cons
  • Not bad

So I just started skateboarding this week and wanted a serious and safe helmet to protect me just in case. According to Google and Revain, the best choice of helmets was this (OutdoorMaster) and another from Triple Eight. Unfortunately, while there are many comments on both helmets, they didn't help me much. I found a tape measure and measured the circumference of my head (57 cm with flowing hair). The sizing info said I would fit right at the end of the medium and the middle of the large. Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • HOW DO I MEASURE THE RIGHT HELMET? - To find the right bike helmet size, first measure the circumference of your head and place a flexible tape measure around the fullest part of your head - about an inch above your eyebrows. Or wrap the rope around your head and then measure its length with a ruler. Large size is recommended if your height is between 21.3"-22.8"(54cm-58cm).
Cons
  • Negative Gift
