Review on AKG K72 Pro Audio Studio Headphones in Matte Black – Over-Ear, Closed-Back Design for Superior Sound by Gim Sohyeôn ᠌

The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

I bought it for mixing and listening to music, I had a very small budget with me I work through the built-in sound card and I can say that even so the sound is good, especially after in-ear headphones for 500. They do not press on the head, they sit perfectly. They have an elastic band instead of the usual headband, I hope that in a year or two it will not stretch. Also included is an adapter from mini-jack 3.5 to 6.4. There was a slight lack of mid frequencies, I added it through the equalizer (with a separate program) and the sound became cleaner. I listened to a variety of genres on these ears: rock, indie, post-punk, hip-hop, trap, hyperpop, etc., the sound is excellent. These headphones have improved my mixing a lot. Did not test these headphones on an external sound card. Most likely, they sound even better on it, since even on the built-in they sound decent. However, on an external card, it's just not possible to raise the frequencies just like that. Another disadvantage is that the soundproofing is not the best, but for such a price tag, thanks for having it at all. No more problems for 3 months I have not identified. Conclusion: For those who are mixing/beating/recording at home and on a budget, I think these headphones are a great option, although some say the K52s are much better for mixing and beat-writing. But for a professional studio, of course, these headphones are not suitable.

Pros: Good sound for this price. A long and quite reliable wire - the winding will not slip or tear from twisting, but not to the extreme - it is still not protected from cuts. Got cons: Ears sweat, not suitable for continuous use. Or you can replace the ear pads.

Has pros: They sit comfortably on the head. The headband does not press on the top of the head, the ear pads do not press on the ears. Some cons: Sound like from a can. Equalizer and did not manage to adjust for themselves.

Its pros: Great headphones for your money. Quality sound, good sound isolation Got cons: In hot weather, the ears can sweat due to the leatherette ear pads

Its pros: Cheap for its segment, high-quality sound, comfortable fit Got cons: At times they creak and give off very unpleasantly in the ear if something knocks on the headphone case, but these are all trifles
