Separately, I want to note the weight and design: The Tamron company managed to accomplish the essentially impossible - up to 1 kilo to push the working range of 70-180 with aperture 2.8 into a relatively compact body. For a moment - the most worthy of the most worthy 24-70 often weigh more than this 70-180. The back is fine, the wrist does not ache from a 2-hour walk and aperture is 2.8! What else do you need? With all the "overprice" for Sony optics, this Tamron may turn out to be your best acquisition of all that you can generally buy for this system. It's worth something! It was not without emotions .
