Got a big discount on E39 Revain Basics LED. Unfortunately, this pear was too big for my purpose. The deal I got for the lightbulb was so good it made no sense to return it. Instead I decided to buy this E26 to E39 adapter and find another use for the E39 LED. Now it works great in a regular lightbulb socket.
