This product is not suitable for long-distance travel. We got extra straps from Walmart because the straps that came with them were questionable and cheap. I didn't like the security. We reached our first destination in 10.5 hours and the cargo bag was so torn that we had to make emergency repairs with gorilla tape to continue the journey. At this point, the cargo bag was no longer waterproof. The installation instructions are terrible. They gave you four pictures without words. Basically you had to think it up yourself.
