I've used these bottled bacteria to run over 10 tanks over the years and will probably continue to do so. I think a lot of people get it wrong: either (A) they think the cycle is instant, or (B) they follow the schedule to the letter "T". You don't add a second drop of ammonium chloride until the ammonia level is 0.4 or less, and you don't do water changes until the pH drops below 7. I've been on a 9 day cycle in tanks and I've tanked up to a month to ride a bike. just be patient Nothing is easy in this hobby
