Great product on Pet Healthchare SnS Coupon

Of course I used water from the installed tank plus 10lbs of gravel from the same system with 8lbs of lifestone in a 12g nano. But the stuff does what it's supposed to do. Makes my tank run faster than without it. Will continue to use.

    • Decent performance

Fast Cycle works well for Pet Healthchare SnS Coupon

This stuff used up my tank in 10 days. I really couldn't believe it. 60 gallon cube with 20 gallon sanctuary, 40 lb Brs Pukani stone. The rock had been treated with a phosphorus-free solution 2 weeks earlier. I'm starting now, Dr. Use Tim's Waste Away. Now I'm definitely a fan of this Dr. Tim products. Hope that helps.

seems to help with cycling and algae growth

I bought to fast ride a 65 gallon reef with a 29 gallon sump. I used all living rocks and living sand. So I didn't have a cycle. the product may or may not have helped. I noticed that I had no algae growth in the aquarium. which is quite difficult in the first few months. I think this product helped with that

The packaging has not been stored well

The product itself is not bad, but it must always be kept in the fridge. The carrier did not store this product well, when we poured the product in, it only became cloudy for a few seconds. After 12 hours we checked the ammonia level and it stayed at the same level. Now we have to go to the fish shop to buy another bottle to prepare the aquarium.

    Pros
    • Inspires confidence
    Cons
    • Some small things

    Didn't work for me

Probably a bad batch. I watched the videos from Dr. Watched Tim on YouTube and followed all the instructions. Also used Dr. Tim's Ammonia. I am now 8 days old and my ammonia has been stable at 2ppm and there has been no sign of nitrite or nitrate. I emailed their customer service and they asked for a batch number but I didn't seem to have kept the bottle. I'm not saying it didn't work for you, but it didn't work for me.

    My favorite bottled bacteria

I've used these bottled bacteria to run over 10 tanks over the years and will probably continue to do so. I think a lot of people get it wrong: either (A) they think the cycle is instant, or (B) they follow the schedule to the letter "T". You don't add a second drop of ammonium chloride until the ammonia level is 0.4 or less, and you don't do water changes until the pH drops below 7. I've been on a 9 day cycle in tanks and I've tanked up to a month to ride a bike. just be patient Nothing is…

    • cool product

    • easy maintainability

For newly started tanks or tanks with ammonia issues

Ok for those trying to use it as a "cleaner", noting that it suffices , except for weekly water changes. This product is designed to start aquarium bacteria. I have been running freshwater and saltwater aquariums since 2003, apart from this one there are no other working aquarium bacteria on the market. I've tried more than I can count and it's the only way I've been able to provide my fish with a stable environment when the fish first become stocked for a few days to a week. A word of advice…

    Pros
    • High marks for hold and durability from testers
    Cons
    • Not as thick as other options
