Of course everyone brings food to share. But who remembers serving cutlery? I'm always grateful to have tongs to keep my fingers off public plates, but they're especially needed during cold and flu season. They were PERFECT! There were a lot of them in the bag so there were enough tongs for french fries and pretzels and sandwich wrappers and assorted salads and even cutters. Although we washed them and saved them for the next event, I can't tell. that they will last for many years. However, they are durable enough that we don't have to throw them away after the first use. That's a good thing, too, because they're probably in a landfill (not recyclable or biodegradable).
