This product gets 5 stars. The advertiser is not. First "F" to the creator of this listing for not providing good pictures (were there no pictures at all at the time of purchase?). No markings, correct sizes or sufficient description. Hopefully someone will take note of this comment and update the list with the above. You really need to know what you are buying otherwise you will have to look elsewhere due to lack of information. As I have an Ohaus scale and understand the high quality, precision and German engineering that is synonymous with the brand, I purchased this item without any pictures or description. I didn't think I was taking any chances, I trusted the quality of the brand. The quality is excellent as expected. The outer material resembles ballistic fabric, similar to luggage, but more refined and smooth to the touch. The inner material is an insert made of ultra high density foam. The scale is pressed gently and absolutely motionless into the recess. Two other compartments are for accessories. I use one for the power cord. I assume the other one is for other scale models that come with different accessories (according to the Ohaus website this case is compatible with 8 different models). The top case is padded with the same foam used for camera bags. It's much softer than an in-ear and allows you to use a soft cushion. Case size (closed) is 17"(W) x 13"(D) (including handle) x 6.25". The weight (empty) is 5 lbs -3 oz. If someone complains that it's hard - well, it's not. It's well made, extremely durable and the high density foam adds weight as it should. The measurements are given with the case lying on its side as shown in the photo. There are no "legs" on the back/floor and the device is not designed to stand on end like luggage. Think about it - your accurate scales should be kept horizontal. The case lies on its side with the logo facing up. The product was immaculately packaged and dispatched on time from the manufacturer, which means the product was delivered by the seller I chose. There is nothing wrong with dropshipping as long as all parties complete the transaction in a professional and timely manner. I am very happy with everything except the lack of information about this listing. Come on guys it will only help your sales if you take the time to add pictures, bullet points and the right description. With proper care, this case will last for many years!
