Fits good. I bought a pair for each child. It was not necessary to take their"break". Just put them on a few hours before our first hike to make sure they don't rub anywhere. There was no way to really test "water resistance". For now I would buy again.
- I bought this shoe for my son. We have always bought Merrell boots and this one did not disappoint.
