These tires are a hassle to fit. ended up having a tube punctured trying to install it after trying to thin this tire on the rim for too long. 2 identical tires - 2 identical rims and tubes - one ran as expected (slowly and carefully) and inflated normally. The second one just didn't fit - tried heating the tire to get more flex - just couldn't get the tire on the rim? Disappointment sets in - the thing should fit. I'll use my metal hoop tool. Yes I punctured the tube and scratched the rim, luckily it wasn't on the street. I will say that the Continental Plus barrier seems very strong from past experience. That's why I bought these tires - but I certainly don't want to go through all the hustle and bustle on the street. For the price, this tire is more of an inconvenience than it's worth.
