I bought this after my Brookstone Rabbit Ear ear opener I bought about 10 years ago fell apart and cost twice as much and didn't come with this optional accessory was delivered. I am very happy with this knife for the following reasons: 1. looks well built 2. They give you about $8 a wine aerator if you buy it separately3. They'll give you a Wine Saver vacuum pump stopper for about $7 if you buy it separately. Packed in a beautiful gift box. Now a little tip for those who have never used a rabbit ear wine opener, watch the YouTube video so you don't waste time trying to figure out how to open wine with this one. Once you get the hang of it, after the initial break-in of the gears, it's very easy to use to achieve a smooth crank action for plug removal. It was a bit fiddly at first, but after opening 8-10 bottles of wine the gears smoothed out and are working great now.
