Don't waste money.
These adapters are junk. They don't convert the DisplayPort signal to VGA properly, so the monitors don't realize they're connected to a PC. They work intermittently, I think it depends on the luck of the draw if they can actually transmit the video signal. We bought 12 of these thinking they would be perfect for a hardware migration project, but we were wrong. We ended up having to buy new monitors. Don't waste your time and money buying a new monitor or adapter.
