This is hands down the loudest external drive I've ever owned. It's so loud man. You don't want this thing in the room with you when you're trying to watch TV or just talk. You can hardly sleep in the next room until the thing starts behaving. I had to place this beast on a soft cloth to try and absorb some of the noise. But otherwise it works perfectly. Transferred fast enough. No problem in this regard. But man, this thing is so crunch crunch crunch crunch crunch crunch crunch crunch crunch crunch! Do you understand what I mean?! Something is creaking now too. I don't copy, open, save, play, index, process etc. He just loves to crunch. I don't even lie You have to believe me. The thing is loud. I'd estimate 10TB of storage, but I wouldn't recommend this drive and won't buy another.
