Review on MTB Black Golf Balls by Snell by Joshua Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

My new ball (medium golfer)

I like the Snell MTB black. I was hitting in the 90's so I could use a lower spin ball to keep those random hooks/cuts at bay and it seems like the perfect balance of power and forgiveness. It's good compression, medium soft feel but not too soft. I'm not good enough to talk about a cool green backspin, but my iron shots on the green stopped by a dime. The discs are strong, provide good clearance and keep their shape to a minimum. This is now my favorite ball. I didn't bother with balls before, but this year I tried to get in shape. I tried Chromesoft, Pro-v1, Bridgestone e6, Superhot, Srixon super soft and TaylorMade Tour Response; this Snell is my favorite for what I'm looking for. The only downside might be durability (I don't know much on that front) if you hit one of the sand it's going to be pretty rough where you hit it. If I'm lucky enough to get through a 1-ball round, it has potholes and wear on the surface. But for me it's rare, so it's not a problem.
