Stop thinking and buy this. WFH because of Covid everyone went nuts and wanted to do everything via video conference, even though earlier the same meeting was only over the phone because everyone was reading the same reviews and overhearing them. I stumbled upon this and couldn't be happier. True plug and play. Literally plug it into your USB port, fire up the conferencing app and select that camera. At the moment it works with all conferencing apps I've tried (Zoom, Bluejeans, GtM). The level of remote control is truly a game changer. scale, break. Etc. without being a lunatic creepily leaning into the camera during a meeting. Just great. If I have to go, I can. The same goes if family members come to my office. It is also possible to vary the height etc. It basically gives the freedom/portability of using my phone's camera with the control of using my laptop's camera.
