If the length and width were OK, the depth was too shallow. If the depth was okay, other measurements were disabled. I've searched for hours and FINALLY found this case. I figured if not I'd send it back. As it turns out, it's PERFECT! The heat gun fits and is protected from damage during operation or in the bed of a pickup truck. AND . It has a carrying handle and is securely fixed. What else could one ask. By the way. I threw away the CHEAP cardboard insert. For your information. This case should fit 3/8" drill bit. NO dividers inside.
