Review on 📀 XtremPro DVD-R 16X 4.7GB 120Min DVD 50 Pack Blank Discs in Spindle - Premium Quality 11032 by Joe Jordan

I bought these discs to record video from my new HD camcorder. They don't work at all with my computer. I was told that 16x is a very low write speed and I had to buy 4x. I was also told that I could buy an external burner that would work with 16x. When reading reviews and product descriptions, there seems to be some confusion as to whether a higher rating (16x) means a faster or slower write speed than 4 or 2x. I would have thought that a slower write speed would give you better video quality, but I'm not sure about this show.
