As a software developer, I work on several PCs: one for actual development, one for medium use testing, laptops for low-level testing, etc. Before, it took an entire office room to install. I recently had to move everything to another general room as I needed another bedroom in the house. This meant everything had to be reduced to one desktop! In the beginning I left several keyboards, mice and headsets there because I needed one for each machine. I ordered this selector and now everything works great, just a set of peripherals! Setup was very easy, just connect the USB cable from each device to the junction box and also connect a set of peripherals to the box. I installed driver software for one set on all machines and now I can work/test and just press the button on top of the switch when doing something on the other machine and after a few seconds the peripherals are disconnected from the previous machine. and active the next. The only complaint I might have is that the 2 USB cables that come with the switch to connect it to a PC are so short that in a setup like mine where the PCs are on opposite ends they have to be used standing, are completely useless.
