This is a great lighter. I have only used Bic lighters before and they are much more advanced and eco-friendly. It works well. I was curious how such a tiny electrical charge could blow a fuse, but it happens almost instantly. It is light, but conveys a reliable impression of quality. As for the cable - at first I thought it wasn't included because it's clearly not packaged. The cord is *beneath* the inner box that contains the lighter. It's a very short cord, but I don't think it needs to be charged very often (they say charge at least once every 3 months).
