One day I was sitting at home after buying my cats cheap orange nylon collars. They took them down in a week. I rarely buy them collars because they either wear out and fall apart or pop out and then wear out after being made into a new toy. I figured there must be a collar that lasted longer. Then I thought about how long flea collars last and they are made of silicone material. And I googled silicone cat collars which led me here. My cats have had them since October 2021. They have had no damage and I have only had one of them show up in the house ONCE. My cats fight all the time which may have caused the collar to come off, but they are indoor cats and don't go out unsupervised. That's why I chose orange for both. This is called the Kitty Convict program. These collars are lightweight and designed to be less visible to your cat when wearing them. None of my cats bothered with these collars from day one. It's only been a few days since August and the collars are still in perfect condition. I will finally add some QR tags. The only thing that would make these collars better would be if I could engrave their information in a different color. Or better yet, engrave your information AND a QR code on it.
