Update 9/5/2020 CalDigit will not even replace it or issue a refund. So much arrogant and ignorant support. Will NEVER buy a CalDigit product. Update: 23/23/2020 Well my party is over before you know it. I am contacting CalDigit now, haven't heard from them but am so disappointed to report a major CRASH in my configuration. I use this docking station with my Dell work laptop, my personal Lenovo Yoga X380, and 15-inch MacBook Pro. Well, 2 days ago I connected my Lenovo to a lightning cable and immediately the laptop flashed, heard a crackling sound, sparks and smoke on it. It literally fried my laptop in front of my eyes :( I can't tell you how frustrated I was and how dangerous this dock-station is Now the docks are OFF and DISCONNECTED and I will be using this thing again :( I have my laptop on Sent to Lenovo and awaiting diagnosis from them.I'm not sure if I can transmit the CalDigit bill, but I will post a report from Lenovo for others to see and learn from.It is absolutely ILLEGAL for your Device gets set on fire. That's never happened to me. What if I wasn't there? The whole house could catch fire? It's a FIRE HAZARD, guys. One trick for both Macs and Windows & play. Now I can clean up my desk and get some work done.
