Review on Finish Powerball Dishwasher Detergent Tablets by Cheryl Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Easy to open, works great in a regular dishwasher

Individually wrapped in an easy to open box, this is a good solution for people who are having trouble (or irritation) with some pesky dishwashing tabs. Plastic container that is difficult to open. Or having to remove that little blob of liquid detergent (it's really annoying). Cheaper brand names in particular have top tabs that are difficult to remove. These bags break easily. The first nice thing about them. I've used fancier dishwashing liquids and I usually go with this brand because it's cheaper and cleans more honestly than any other brand. We have moved several times and mostly have an old dishwasher. Thanks to this, I always scrape and rinse the plates a little. I wash and clean my pots by hand (they never shine when they come out of the dishwasher), I don't know if they will magically clean your pots and pans in an old and outdated dishwasher - I doubt it. The smell of these tabs is subtle. You can smell it when you open the package and hold it to your nose. Then you get a hint of orange or that childhood favorite drink: tan. But if not, I doubt you'll smell any. The plates don't smell like orange either. And since I usually run the dishwasher before bed, I can't say the kitchen is filled with an acrid smell, lol. I do not think so. From time to time I have an odd spoon or fork that needs cleaning after washing the dishes. But it's not every day. This is a great dishwashing solution. I don't add anything else: no finish, no soap before washing. Just that. I'm glad.
