The buttons are slow to respond and very firm, the control knob has an uneven dead zone that will defeat most of the precise movements you need in a competitive or even casual environment. There also seems to be input lag in everything you do, making it seem like you're telling someone how to type in the moves you want to make and then watching them on screen. If you want to use this for anything other than a Mario Party or Mario Kart then stay away as you will end up disappointed. I'll take it apart and buy the original GCN to put in its guts. The case is well made and looks great, but the performance leaves a lot to be desired. As everyone else here seems to be saying - you get what you pay for.
