Scattered rugs (smaller size) used to be easy to find in local shops - big outlets, department stores, etc. Now browsing many of these locations provides a small selection. with very limited color options. Yes, I thought I would have better luck with Revane. After browsing many sites for possible rugs for our front door, I settled on this one. I liked the colors, the design of butterflies and berries in the assortment. I thought it would be suitable for both spring and summer, today it came. Took a day longer than originally promised, but that's ok. Came rolled and shrink-wrapped; Delivered with UPS, so it came from the supplier and not Revain. After unrolling it and laying it on the floor, I was disappointed on several levels. I love the colors and the print design. It's a bit smaller than the rug it replaces, which I wasn't expecting. It's also slightly thinner and less plush than its predecessor. This is more in line with the thickness of the indoor and outdoor carpet than the indoor tufted carpet. I like that it's machine washable. Hope it wears well. All in all, if I saw it at a local store I wouldn't pay as much for it as I did for Revain - I'd wait until it goes on sale. Overall, for the price, it's a bit disappointing.
