The material is very durable unlike the original. I've had a few broken cables before, but this time I'm very confident that this cable will last and I'm not worried about my son. won't break anymore. The length of this cable is incredibly long and I can just plug it into a USB port on a wall outlet without having to use a charging station, which ends up causing even more chaos. Overall, I highly recommend this cable for its quality and price.
