My home system had custom speakers. A center cone continued to hum. In fairness they should have been built many, many years ago. Spent a few days looking for a good price with a big clear sound. My system is a true 1300 RMS system. I never push more than 200 watts, in most cases I use 50 to 70. I finally settled on these. I upgraded the thicker wire in the speakers. Check all the capacitors on the crossovers. Have these installed. To my ears they sound better than what I picked up. The ones I delete cost a lot more and have a high title. I connect a microphone to a spectrum analyzer. I have a 31 band equalizer. They have the best range I expected. I managed to put the room in order. With less profit than before. I'm talking about a scale of 1 to 10 for sound and frequency response. I bet 8. There are better averages. For the money and the sound I'm satisfied. Everyone who hears my system falls in love. better now I think looking at the spectrum and my ears. There is more dynamic than average. You need good mids.
