So far, so good. I bought another manual vacuum sealer and the USB port broke very quickly. This one seems to be stronger and of better quality. I have a regular vacuum packaging machine but wanted to find an alternative that wasted less plastic. I love the reusable bags - I label each one (chicken, beef, etc.) and just wash them - as long as they hold up pretty well. The vacuum sealer is very easy to use - tip: hold the bag horizontally on the counter/table and place the vacuum sealer over the air hole; it may take a few seconds, but it will eventually suck in air. It works just as well, if not better than my big vacuum sealer. Although this pack comes in two bag sizes, I only wish one of them was even larger (a gallon or more) to accommodate a larger roast. But typically the sizes are sufficient to cook a large chicken breast or a small to medium triple tip.
