Works, PS4 (which I bought it for) is recognized but volume doesn't increase, headsets sound even quieter than those connected to the controller. Ultimately it's useless. I tried it with a PC and the only difference is that the volume increases slightly when using the same headphones. Now you must be wondering or saying you have crappy headphones. Yes! I do! That's why I bought this. I didn't want to spend money on new ones. But I think I need to buy better. In summary, this fix did not work as expected. If you want, try it yourself, be my guest. But don't say I didn't warn you.
