(updated from 1 star rating) The first unit I got didn't work and I was very angry. The company approached me about my initial tirade/1 star review and worked with me to ship a new device for free without having to return the old device. Their customer support was helpful and responsive. They did everything they promised. The replacement block works great for what I use it for. The only criticisms I have of the product are: 1. The KVM device does not support connections on an idle computer. This isn't really a big problem, but it does slow down the switch because the computer has to re-detect the displays and USB connection when switching back to it. Because of this, some windows sometimes all move from one screen to another. The computer finds the monitors again. Other KVM systems will continue to leak/forge EDID and USB information to computers to prevent this.2. KVM works much better with hotkeys disabled. If hotkeys are enabled, the USB connection will be disconnected. Possibly because my keyboard and mouse are a bit smarter/more functional than a standard keyboard or mouse, but that doesn't stop the hotkeys from not working well. The included remote control is perfect. TLDR: For something that's one of the cheapest dual-monitor DP KVMs available today, it does what I need for my home office setup. It's not perfect, but it works and makes it easy to switch between work and home computers.
