Most reviews of these trays are positive BUT I've seen a few comments about white "things" floating in your drinks caused by the ice being made from these trays. I attributed it to the fact that the trays may not have been cleaned prior to use. BUT. I have this nasty thing in ice even after washing the trays both by hand and after running them through the dishwasher and finally making 3 batches of ice. The photos in my review show the foam coming off the ice cream when cooking in these bowls. For the photos I only filled a clean glass with ice and let the ice melt. The foam you see in the water (melted ice) and around the top of the glass is clearly ice. Even after hand washing and wiping in the dishwasher, this is the third batch of ice cream. Needless to say, these things are sent back!
